Hand wash and dry naturally
Each necklace is made with three strands each approximately 6ft long joined together with an aluminium bead covering the join. Just twist into a figure of 8 to create a 3ft long 6 strand and so on.

Just a note on  the different pricing...
 
When I first started making these over 12 years ago I just used the original yarn.  I currently have over 300 different colour combinations.  
 
Then little by little I discovered lurex threads which added a real sparkle.  First the unsupported threads, mainly Holographic and Silver.  I make very few plain ones now as most people prefer the sparkle.
 
Then came the supported Lurex Yarns in 14 different colours.  Its amazing how a change of Yarn from a Pewter to a Silver makes a complete colour difference.  Then my latest discovery, the sequinned threads.
 
There are three prices £7,  £8 and £9
 
The plain ones and those shown 'with lurex thread, silver thread or holographic thread are £7
 
Then there are thicker ones where I have used 2 yarns together. These are £8.
The ones shown 'with red, with copper, with silver etc have the supported thicker lurex Yarn. These are £9.
 
In addition some also show sequins, no extra charge for sequins.  
 
By 2014 I worked out that I had made and sold over 5 miles of strands. I hate to think how far I have done now!
 
Each one takes just over an hour to make.  They have sold very successfully through local outlets, Tourist info Centres, Post Offices, Hairdressers, Souvenir Shops etc
